Love Making!

11/12/2015 2 By Dr Nadeem

Stiff as death
forgotten they lay
in a dark corner
two figures of clay.
Together but apart
lost in their own thought
emotions unexpressed
faces like masks
as a web, fine cracks
chasms turning into gulfs.

Silently flew Cupids arrow
bringing them together
in their sorrow
blew off the ashes
kindled sparks in their breast.
Taking as a sign from above
at long last they made love.
A pulsing, throbbing orange light
brightly burnt in their chest.

Eyes meeting
hands reaching
legs sliding
tongues drinking
nails drawing
teeth gripping
breath sighing
hearts melding
passion rising
tasting nectar
with their love making
they came together
from the brink of death, Alive.
