Simple weed, humble I maybe
despised, hated and killed by many.
Closely look at me
to find a certain beauty
built in sacred geometry
a special, sublime symmetry.
No matter how many killers you spray
I shall beguile every child on it’s way
whisper him to come and play
with my blowball bobbing and sway.
Invite it’s life breath to blow on me
ride far on it’s happiness.
Spread seeds to the far corners
to grow, survive and thrive
giving kids enormous joy!
Life’s a painting, nightmares and dreams fragmented.
An unending play of light and shade
dark days and brightness interspersed.
The music of an accordion
alternately relaxed and compressed.
Momentary murmur of soft, cool breeze
stormy clouds, thunder and gales.
Silent, serene calm ripples
Crashing thunderous waves
Tossed by a tsunami
rushing headlong in haste.
A moments pause in a rolling meadow
sat on a bench in the oaks shade.
Look at the beauty all around
With the eye of an artist
stop the thoughts and contemplate.
Accept the sweet with the source
a masterpiece to create.
Froth on top of a cup of cappuccino
Or a ballerina dancing a ballet
a dervish whirls in meditation
signs and symbols for realisation.
Buzz of bees, dance of flowers
art of the creator of Picasso and Monet
throbbing green heart leaf
life coursing it’s veins
faint scent of pine in the air
everything bright and fair.
Wake up to the laid back flute of a blackbird
relax as it sings late into dusk
The melancholic twinkling of a Robin
loud song bursts of a Wren
momentary bursts of a Chaffinch
or the excited twittering Greenfinch.
listen to the soft high pitched Bluetit trill
Or song of Great tit, cheerful bright
as suddenly, it takes flight.
Marvel at the mimicry of a Starling
as it mimics a far off car alarm
or the melody of your phone’s ring! *
Subtle are the hints that come our way
If with uncluttered mind, open eyes
we observe life as it flows
come alive moment by moment and play!
